Paice Backs Alzheimer’s Awareness Week

Jim Paice, MP for South East Cambridgeshire, today expressed support for people with dementia and their carers in the run up to Alzheimer’s Awareness Week.

The theme of the week, which will run from 3 to 9 July is ‘Think again’, and the Alzheimer’s Society will be focusing on the issues that affect younger people with dementia.

Jim said: “More than 835 people living in South East Cambridgeshire have dementia and more than three times that number are affected by the consequences, so the aim of Alzheimer’s Awareness Week – to think again about how best we can support people with dementia and their families – is extremely important.”

Neil Hunt, chief executive of the Alzheimer’s Society said, “I am delighted that Jim Paice is supporting Alzheimer’s Awareness Week and look forward to his continuing support.”
