Paice Pulls The Pints In Proud Of Pubs Week

South East Cambridgeshire MP Jim Paice will be dropping in at The Prince Albert in Ely on Friday 13th July at 1.30pm as publicans across the country celebrate Proud of Pubs Week.

Mr Paice is one of a number of MPs visiting pubs during the national celebration of pubs, organised by The Publican magazine, which runs from July 8 to 15.

The MP will be seeing for himself the positive contribution that The Prince Albert makes in the local community, as well as discussing issues with licensee Michael Hunt and staff.

Jim said: “Pubs are a great British institution and very often the social centre of local communities.

“I am delighted to support Proud of Pubs Week and celebrate the positive contribution a good ‘local’ makes to community life.”

Daniel Pearce, deputy editor of The Publican, said: “Pubs do so much in their communities and we thought it was about time that more MPs dropped in to their local to see that for themselves! Proud of Pubs Week is the ideal opportunity for pub landlords to shout out about all the great things they do.”
