11.30 – 12 Jim will be meeting with Mrs Wendy Simpson and fellow residents of East Fen Common to discuss the traveller situation.
• Jim said: “These travellers have moved on to East Fen Common with no planning permission and no regard for the local community. It is time the council deployed every legal weapon in its armoury to remove them swiftly and robustly before my constituents suffer any further misery.”

12.30-1.30pm Jim will be unveiling an ‘Artsmark Award’ at City of Ely College. COEC was one of only 232 schools in the country to achieve an Artsmark Award from the arts council in recognition of its commitment to providing students with learning opportunities in art-related disciplines.
